Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance, installation, or repairs across plumbing, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and related systems at our facilities in Ohio.

You will work in an operations environment with safety as a priority and may assist in cost estimation and project tasks. The role requires reading blueprints and manuals, using a range of hand and power tools, and maintaining equipment to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school or GED with ability to read, write and comprehend English.
• 6 months to 2 years of related experience.
• Experience using power, pneumatic, hydraulic, and hand tools.
• Experience using material handling equipment and precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance and minor repairs on machines and related equipment.
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components.
• Repair or replace light fixtures, doors, flooring and related facility components.
• Operate company vehicles and assist in plant operations as needed.
• Estimate time and material costs for projects.
