Job summary

Veolia North America is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance on pumps, engines, valves and related equipment. You will troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic systems, using hand tools and precision instruments, and assist with facility upkeep and light mechanical installations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to read blueprints and manuals, and willingness to work in an operations environment with safety training and

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required with ability to read, write and comprehend English.
Experience with mechanical troubleshooting and use of hand/power tools preferred.
Must be able to read blueprints and manuals and operate CMMS software.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on pumps, engines, valves, and related equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems; dismantle and reassemble for repairs.
Install or repair facilities equipment and lighting; assist with light carpentry and building maintenance.
Estimate time and materials for projects; maintain safety and environmental standards.
Work in a team environment and be available for on-call emergency support.
