Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a maintenance professional to provide upkeep for facilities, grounds, and equipment in Knoxville, ensuring safety and comfort for residents and staff. You will perform repairs, inspections, and on-call duties while maintaining tools and working with a team.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license, with opportunities to expand trade knowledge and contribute to a supportive living environment.

Qualifications

• Basic skill knowledge of working of machinery, equipment and systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair various equipment.
• Knowledge in safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to problem solve and work in a team.
• Ability to adapt, prioritize and communicate.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work requests and preventative maintenance work orders as assigned by supervisor or director; including appliance repair, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, low voltage, pools, and fire alarms.
• Inspect facilities, systems and components to ensure safety and cleanliness and identify repairs.
• Use hand tools and power tools; maintain tools and equipment to stay in safe operating condition.
• Assist with general labor, event set-ups, deliveries and moves as needed.
• Troubleshoot building and equipment issues as they arise.
