Job summary

Covenant Living and CovenantCare Home Health and Hospice is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and related trades. You will handle preventative maintenance, emergency responses, and on-call duties to keep campus facilities operating smoothly.

Required are a high school diploma/GED, 5+ years in maintenance, and applicable trade licenses. A valid driver's license and the ability to train others are also essential.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED is required.
• Vocational training certificate or trade school preferred.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record.
• HVAC, Plumbing or Electrical licenses/certifications required by breadth of duties.
• Five or more years of related maintenance experience with relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and replace electrical devices and equipment (e.g., HVAC).
• Install, repair and replace plumbing fixtures.
• Repair and replace door/window closing devices and locks.
• Install shelving and furnishings; touch up areas.
• Perform preventative maintenance per schedule and complete daily work orders.
• Respond to emergencies and on-call maintenance shifts.
• Coordinate with supervisor and train other maintenance staff.
