Job summary

Cottonwood Residential is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician for the Retreat at Peachtree City Apartments, located in Peachtree City, GA. You will be responsible for a variety of maintenance tasks including plumbing and electrical repairs, ensuring an exceptional experience for residents.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, a valid Driver's License, and excellent communication skills. Join us to help create a welcoming environment for our customers!

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English for communication and paperwork.
• Must be able to walk and stand for long periods.
• Ability to work standard community hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs including plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.
• Provide after-hours emergency service as on-call technician.
• Assist in creating a welcoming experience for customers.

Skills

Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs

Communication skills in English

Ability to perform plumbing repairs

Ability to perform electrical work

Ability to navigate difficult terrain

Education

Valid Driver's License

EPA certification Type II or Universal (a plus)

CPO certification (a plus)
