Job summary

Cottonwood Residential is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician for the Retreat at Peachtree City Apartments in Georgia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various repairs, including plumbing and electrical work, and must exhibit strong communication skills and the physical ability to navigate apartment environments.

Qualifications & Required Experience

• Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with customers, process company paperwork, and interpret safety and operating manuals and procedures
• Must be able to move, carry, reposition, or lift items weighing up to 50 lbs
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds, and navigate elevation changes while maintaining balance
• Frequent need to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, push/pull, and navigate difficult terrain and access small areas
• Ability to work standard community hours, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to work as an on-call technician and provide after-hours emergency service with the support of the Service Manager while following company standards
• Perform repairs that may include, but are not limited to, plumbing, electrical work, and general carpentry related to household, building, and property grounds repairs
• EPA certification Type II or Universal is a plus
• CPO certification is a plus
• Valid Driver's License is required
