Quality Talent Group is seeking an entry level Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance on mining and processing equipment and to assist with repairs as needed. This role is on a swing shift and requires basic mechanical skills and PPE compliance.

The position emphasizes maintenance of plant and conveying equipment, inventory management, and timely documentation of work performed. Opportunities for growth and safety-focused training are available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in mechanical repair, installation, or industrial environments.
• Basic mechanical skills including welding (stick/arc), light fabrication, cutting torch, and hand tools.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Preferred: Experience operating skid-steer, man-lift, or similar equipment.
• Must follow PPE requirements, including respirator use.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer and company guidelines.
• Inspect, repair, and adjust plant and conveying equipment.
• Maintain inventory of commonly used replacement parts.
• Execute emergency repairs to address equipment breakdowns.
• Report issues and repair needs to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Complete required reports and documentation on time.
