Quality Talent Group is recruiting for an ENTRY LEVEL - Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing partner in Colorado. This role focuses on keeping mining and processing equipment in safe, ready condition and performing routine maintenance tasks on swing shift.

You will perform preventative maintenance, inspect and repair plant equipment, manage spare parts, and assist with emergency repairs while adhering to safety and environmental policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical repair, installation, or industrial environments.
• Basic mechanical skills including welding (stick/arc), light fabrication, cutting torch, and hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Preferred: Experience operating skid-steer, man-lift, or similar equipment.
• Ability to follow PPE requirements, including respirator use (clean-shaven for proper fit).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer and company guidelines.
• Inspect, repair, and adjust plant and conveying equipment.
• Maintain inventory of commonly used replacement parts.
• Execute emergency repairs to address equipment breakdowns.
• Report issues and repair needs to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Complete required reports and documentation on time.
