Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking an entry level Maintenance Technician to support mining and processing equipment on a swing shift in Colorado. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, repairs, and basic fabrication to keep plant operations running safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic mechanical skills, and the ability to follow PPE protocols; prior factory or industrial experience is a plus, and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical repair, installation, or industrial environments.
• Basic mechanical skills including welding (stick/arc), light fabrication, cutting torch, and hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Preferred: Experience operating skid-steer, man-lift, or similar equipment.
• Ability to follow PPE requirements, including respirator use (clean-shaven for proper fit).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer and company guidelines.
• Inspect, repair, and adjust plant and conveying equipment.
• Maintain inventory of commonly used replacement parts.
• Execute emergency repairs to address equipment breakdowns.
• Report issues and repair needs to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Complete required reports and documentation on time.
