ENTRY LEVEL - Maintenance Technician role focusing on maintaining mining and processing equipment in a ready state. Swing shift responsibilities include preventive maintenance and repairs to keep plant operations running smoothly.

We seek candidates with a high school diploma and basic mechanical skills, plus experience with welding and fabrication, and familiarity with PPE and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical repair, installation, or industrial environments.
• Basic mechanical skills including welding (stick/arc), light fabrication, cutting torch, and hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Preferred: Experience operating skid-steer, man-lift, or similar equipment.
• Ability to follow PPE requirements, including respirator use (clean-shaven for proper fit).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer and company guidelines.
• Inspect, repair, and adjust plant and conveying equipment.
• Maintain inventory of commonly used replacement parts.
• Execute emergency repairs to address equipment breakdowns.
• Report issues and repair needs to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Complete required reports and documentation on time.
