Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support the Industrial Maintenance team in Mesquite, TX. You will perform preventative and predictive maintenance on material handling systems and develop skills in electrical, PLC/controls, and welding fabrication under supervision.

You will diagnose simple mechanical issues, use a digital multimeter, and refer to drawings and manuals. The role may require flexible scheduling and collaboration with safety teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with minimum skill requirements.
• Demonstrated basic mechanical aptitude through background or hobbies in agriculture, automotive or other technical areas
• In lieu of demonstrated mechanical aptitude, two (2) years of FedEx Operations Sortation equipment knowledge will be considered or currently enrolled in a certificate or degree program for Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics or related discipline
• Related military technical experience and electrical or mechanical trade experience will be considered

Responsibilities
