Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Burlington Maintenance General Technician to maintain and repair automated material handling and facility equipment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns and restore equipment to service to support our distribution center operations. You will work with lead techs, use handheld devices to close work orders, and develop skills toward a Skilled Technician role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Transferrable mechanical skills.
• Possess or ability to obtain a valid driver’s license.
• Basic PC competency and ability to use mobile apps on handheld devices.
• Familiar with simple wiring diagrams, symbols and electrical measuring.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical aspects of MHE on site (conveyors, sortation, scales, printers).
• Demonstrate proficiency with hydraulic/pneumatic systems and AC/DC motors/drives.
• Read and interpret basic electrical/electronic schematics.
• Use handheld devices to create and close Work Orders with data (labor hours, downtime, parts used).
• Adhere to safety procedures including PPE and Lock Out/Tag Out.
