Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking a Maintenance Lead Technician to ensure high equipment availability across our distribution center. You will diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical systems, including conveyors, robotics, AS/RS, and PLCs, while mentoring junior technicians.

On a day shift, you will develop work plans, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, manage work orders via handheld devices, and uphold safety standards such as LOTO and PPE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4+ years’ experience in the Mechanical or Electrical maintenance field in a distribution center environment.
• Possess or ability to obtain a valid driver’s license.
• Excellent PC competency and ability to use mobile apps on handheld devices.
• Familiar with wiring diagrams, symbols and electrical measuring.
• Experience in preventive/predictive maintenance procedures.
• Experience with robotic operation/maintenance.
• Experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical aspects of MHE, including conveyors, sortation, robotics, or ASRS.
• Control and adjust positioning accuracy and timing.
• Control and adjust scanners, cameras, scales and printer applicators.
• Control, reset, repair or replace adjustable components and wearing components.
• Clean, lubricate, and calibrate equipment.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components.
• Troubleshoot PLC programs, components, field buses, and communications modules.
• Configure and adjust PLC parameters and component setup.
• Conduct maintenance and higher-level troubleshooting of any robot type.
• Troubleshoot power distribution systems and lighting up to 480V.
• Develop work plans with peer technicians for emergency repair of critical assets.
• Utilize handheld devices and asset management system to create and close Work Orders.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels.
