Job summary

Pratt is seeking an entry level Assistant Machine Operator in the Converting department. This role starts on the 1st shift (6am-2pm) and trains on converting machines to ensure quality and efficiency. You will support setup, monitoring, and basic maintenance while learning the full operation of converting lines.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent (Required).
• Able to learn to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
• Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate.

Responsibilities

• Set-up slotting, feed, and die cut sections on machine accurately.
• Assist operator in other duties.
• Monitor board quality and report issues to operator.
• Cross-train on other machines to advance skills.
• Complete reports accurately and timely.
• Maintain equipment and housekeeping, follow safety policies.
• Support production scheduling and recommend improvements.
