Job summary

Pratt is seeking an entry-level Assistant Machine Operator in the Converting Dept. for the 2nd shift (2pm-10pm). Responsibilities include machine setup, feeding and die-cutting sections, monitoring quality, and cross-training on other machines.

Qualifications

Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate.

Responsibilities

Set-up slotting, feed, and die cut sections on machine according to proper setup techniques.
Assist operator in other duties.
Monitor board quality and report defects to keep the machine running.
Cross-train on other machines to advance skills and positions.
Complete necessary reports accurately and timely.
Submit maintenance work orders and support equipment upkeep.
Support production schedule adherence and suggest scheduling improvements.
