Job summary

Pratt is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) in the Converting department. The role involves running Flexo, Die Cut, Jumbo, or J&L lines, including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements.

The ideal candidate is actively training as a converting machine operator and will monitor quality and production data. Responsibilities include training others, cross-training on other machines, maintaining safety standards, and adhering to the production schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
• Able to apply concepts of high school math.

Responsibilities

• Monitor box quality including loose liner, warp, size, and print.
• Check anilox rolls for damage.
• Operate machinery at available capacity and speed.
• Train and assist the Assistant Machine Operator.
• Cross-train on other machines to advance skills.
• Complete production and quality reports accurately and timely.
• Maintain equipment and submit maintenance work orders as needed.
• Adhere to production schedule and suggest improvements.
