Job summary

Pratt is hiring an Assistant Machine Operator for the Converting dept. This entry-level role trains on converting machines during the 3rd shift (10pm-6am, Sunday-Thursday). You will set up machine sections, assist operators, and monitor quality while cross-training for career growth within the company.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, plus the ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math. Company benefits start day one and there are numerous growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
• Able to calculate percentages, measurements, volume and rate.
• Willing to cross-train on other converting machines.
• Able to read factory masters.

Responsibilities

• Set-up slotting, feed, and die cut sections on machine as per setup techniques.
• Assist operator in other duties.
• Monitor board quality and report defects to maintain production.
• Cross-train on other machines to advance skills.
• Complete reports timely and maintain equipment.
