Job summary

JE Dunn Construction invites entry-level professionals to join the Advanced Facilities Group on challenging mechanical, electrical, and field construction projects. You will learn by participating in safety and quality plans, develop M/E estimates, review options during preconstruction, and assist with bid analysis and sequencing to meet project schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, architectural engineering or related field (Required).
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Learns and actively participates in all aspects of safety and quality plans and culture.
• Completes entry level and routine mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.
• Learns how to develop budgetary M/E estimates using automated estimating system.
• Assists in review of mechanical and electrical options during preconstruction and completes systems analysis.
• Learns to develop the mechanical and electrical scopes of work for bid coordination.
• Assists in bid analysis and subcontractor selection input.
• Assists in sequencing requirements to meet schedule.
• Gains knowledge of design documents to identify quality problems and develop constructability reviews.
• Learns to perform job inspections to ensure specifications are met.
• Learns and assists with shop drawing/submittal process.
• Assists with commissioning, including pre-functional checklists and testing procedures.
