Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking an entry-level engineer to join the Advanced Facilities Group in Myrtle Beach, SC. You will learn safety and quality plans while performing routine M/E construction activities and assisting with budget development from design data.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical or electrical background, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to read plans. 0–2 years of construction experience is preferred and a pathway to growth in our Advanced Facilities Team is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 0-2 years construction experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn safety and quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Learns and participates in safety and quality plans.
• Completes entry level mechanical, electrical, and field construction activities.
• Assists in developing budgetary M/E estimates from design information.
• Supports bid analysis and subcontractor selection processes.
• Learns to develop M/E scopes of work for coordination.
• Assists with shop drawing/submittal processes and commissioning.
