West Monroe seeks entry-level Consultants to join our Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. In this dynamic role, you will work with our national M&A team, serving both corporate and private equity clients.

As an M&A Consultant, you will gain hands-on experience across the full lifecycle, conducting due diligence, planning carve-outs, integration, and advising on sell-side transactions. You will work across industries and develop value-creation approaches with AI and data.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s degree with expected graduation between December 2026 and August 2027; on-track to graduate within this window.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Reside within 50 miles of assigned office; hybrid work model.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%; travel expenses covered by West Monroe.
• Experience integrating AI tools into workflows to enhance productivity and insights.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including industry and technical experts, with C-level client counterparts.
• Participate in due diligence site visits to assess operational and technology strategies.
• Evaluate investment strategies against leading practices and benchmarks.
• Prepare request lists, agendas, and support diligence sessions.
• Deliver post-close projects for process improvements and value creation.
• Contribute to the development of West Monroe’s M&A methodologies and client delivery.
• Apply emerging technologies, including AI, to improve delivery efficiency and insights.
• Support creation of work plans and statements of work for prospective clients.
• Apply AI technologies to enhance insights and outcomes.
