Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) is looking for an Entry-Level Lube Technician to join our Burton, MI team. You’ll contribute to high-quality guest service while performing preventative maintenance and basic automotive services in a collaborative environment.

Our award-winning training will teach you how to change oil, check fluids, rotate tires, and perform essential inspections. This role offers a supportive team, predictable schedules, and opportunities to advance into management with time

Role Overview

What you’ll do to drive success: When you join us as an Entry‑Level Lube Technician, your personal and professional goals will be fueled by a friendly and collaborative team environment. Together, we’ll help keep our guests safe on the road by providing top‑tier customer service, while performing preventative maintenance services for their vehicles. Your road to VIOC doesn’t require previous automotive experience. Through our award‑winning training program, we’ll teach you how to:

• Change oil
• Check and refill fluids
• Rotate tires
• Test and replace batteries
• Inspect and replace lights and wipers
• Perform an 18‑point safety check
• And other preventive maintenance services

• Schedule flexibility (Weekend availability is likely, but we ensure you don’t work late nights or holidays)
• An eagerness to learn, a friendly attitude, and a desire to be part of a customer‑focused team
• This role requires the ability to review, read, and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking

We expect you can:

• Stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Crouch, bend, twist, and work with your hands above your head
• Be comfortable working in a non‑climate‑controlled environment
