Job summary

Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) in Willoughby, OH is seeking an Entry-Level Lube Technician to help keep guests safe on the road through top-tier service and preventive maintenance. No automotive experience required; our award-winning training will teach you the basics from day one.

You'll learn to change oil, check and refill fluids, rotate tires, inspect and replace lights and wipers, test batteries, and complete an 18-point maintenance check, all while delivering friendly customer care.

Qualifications

• From day one, you’ll get hands-on training and support to thrive as a Lube Technician.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• English reading, writing and speaking fluency is required.

Responsibilities

We seek team members with:

• Schedule flexibility (Weekend availability is likely, but we ensure you don’t work late nights or holidays)
• An eagerness to learn, a friendly attitude, and a desire to be part of a customer-focused team
• This role requires the ability to review, read, and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking
• Stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Crouch, bend, twist, and work with your hands above your head
• Be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
