Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) in Livonia, MI seeks an Entry-Level Lube Technician to join a friendly, learning-focused team. You’ll perform oil changes, check fluids, rotate tires, and support preventive maintenance to keep guests safe on the road.

No prior automotive experience is required; our award-winning training program will teach the 18-point safety check and related services. This on-site role offers solid benefits and growth potential.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and routine maintenance services.
• Check and refill vehicle fluids.
• Rotate tires and inspect battery health.
• Inspect lights and wipers, and perform an 18-point safety check.
• Provide excellent customer service and support maintenance tasks as needed.

• Perform an 18-point safety check

We seek team members with:

• Schedule flexibility (Weekend availability is likely, but we ensure you don’t work late nights or holidays)
• An eagerness to learn, a friendly attitude, and a desire to be part of a customer-focused team
• This role requires the ability to review, read, and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking

We expect you can:

• Stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Crouch, bend, twist, and work with your hands above your head
• Be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
