Job summary

Next Level Technician in Winston-Salem, NC is hiring an Entry Level Low Voltage Cable Technician to run through structured cabling tasks. This role involves pulling and terminating CAT5e/CAT6, testing with basic testers, and installing racks and patch panels.

You will work at various job sites across North Carolina, travel as needed, and receive weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities for BICSI-certified training. Safety gear provided and support from a dedicated recruiter.

Qualifications

• 6 months commercial/industrial low voltage experience.
• Experience with structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems preferred.
• BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus.
• Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
• Working knowledge of telecom/data networks.
• Willingness to travel to job sites within North Carolina as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cable.
• Test installed cable using Fluke or similar testers.
• Punch down voice and data jacks and label correctly.
• Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF.
• Work safely on ladders/lifts and read blueprints/system layouts.
• Install/support access control, CCTV, audio visual, and fiber optic systems.
