Job summary

Next Level Technician in High Point, NC is hiring a Low Voltage Cable Technician to pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT6/CAT6a cable. You will test cables and punch down jacks, while installing racks, patch panels, cable trays, and MDF/IDF infrastructure.

Requirements include 2+ years in commercial/industrial low voltage, familiarity with telecom/data networks, and a willingness to travel within North Carolina. Weekly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years commercial/industrial low voltage experience.
• Experience with structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems preferred.
• BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus.
• Working knowledge of telecom/data networks.
• Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots).

Responsibilities

• Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT6/CAT6a cable.
• Test installed cable (Fluke or similar testers).
• Punch down voice and data jacks.
• Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, etc.
