Job summary

CORPORATE RESOURCES OF IL LTD in Elk Grove Village, IL, is seeking an entry-level Logistics Shipment Coordinator. You will learn the day-to-day operations behind freight movement, shipment tracking, documentation, and transportation processes while working with an experienced team.

No experience required; a Bachelor’s Degree is enough to start. You will enter shipment data, monitor progress, review documents, coordinate with carriers, and support routine reporting. Health benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain shipment information in internal systems accurately.
• Monitor shipments and update records as information changes.
• Review shipping documents, bills of lading, and delivery confirmations.
• Coordinate with carriers, warehouses, and logistics partners to keep shipments moving.
• Maintain organized files and prepare routine reports on shipments and activity.
• Learn transportation processes and how each function interrelates.

What You’ll Do:

• Enter and maintain shipment information in internal systems, making sure details are accurate and up to date
• Monitor shipments throughout the transportation process and update records as information changes
• Review shipping documents, bills of lading, delivery confirmations, and other paperwork for accuracy
• Work with internal teams, carriers, warehouses, and other logistics partners to keep shipments moving
• Maintain organized files and records related to shipments, carriers, and customer accounts
• Help prepare routine reports related to shipments, deliveries, and transportation activity
• Learn the different stages of the transportation process and how each function works together to move freight
