Pike Corporation is seeking an entry-level APB-Transmission lineman to join our team. The role involves construction, maintenance and repair of electrical transmission systems at various locations, with possible travel to other states based on customer needs.

The job requires strong physical stamina, willingness to work outdoors in all weather, and the ability to learn to read blueprints, string wire, set poles, and operate with safety on energized or de-energized lines.

Formación

• 1-year minimum of field experience.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• CDL permit within 60 days of employment; CDL preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Work safely on energized and de-energized transmission work.
• String overhead wire and set poles/anchors.
• Inspect equipment and tools; maintain vehicles and gear.
• Work outdoors in inclement weather; perform physically demanding tasks.
• Learn to read blueprints and understand wiring schematics.
• Assist with inspecting structural problems and troubleshooting.
• Work from an aerial device and at heights; follow safety procedures.
