Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in groundman and lineman work or lineman training school qualifies for 6 months.
• Ability to travel at a moment's notice, anytime.
• Available to work irregular hours, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Possess at minimum a valid CDL-B license.
• Possess your own tools.
• Ability to handle physically demanding construction duties in harsh weather conditions.
• Ability to read and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Climb poles or use bucket trucks to access equipment at heights.
• Safely install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground distribution systems.
• Identify defective components using diagrams and testing instruments.
• Drive vehicles with tools to job sites.
• Lay underground cables and string conductors between poles or through trenches.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
