Job summary

CompucomStaffing is seeking a Level 1 Technician to join our client’s team onsite in New York, NY. The role involves imaging and testing desktops and laptops, configuring hardware, and providing end-user technical support.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting software and peripherals, supporting IS technicians with large IMACs, and documenting process improvements. The position offers a competitive hourly wage and a full benefits package, with standard eligibility for paid holidays and PTO.

Responsibilities

• Test and image desktops and laptops
• Maintain, analyze, and troubleshoot software and computer peripherals
• Set up, configure and add all hardware
• Assist client internal IS technicians with large IMACs
• Provide technical support to end-users via telephone and in person
• Assist in developing and documenting improvements to current processes
• Manage (ServiceNow / Clearvision) ticket queue constantly throughout the day
• Assist coworkers in the resolution of end-users' technical issues
