Job summary

CompucomStaffing is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join the team on-site in Parsippany, NJ. The role provides end-user support and a pathway for career guidance through the staffing relationship.

Responsibilities include PC hardware/software support, network issue handling, and device provisioning. Ideal candidates have 3–6+ years’ related experience and strong customer-service skills, with CompTIA A+ preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of experience supporting PC hardware and software.
• Hands-on desktop/network support and deskside assistance.
• Customer-facing experience and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware, and peripherals.
• Document, upgrade, or replace hardware and software as needed.
• Support user accounts, security, and groups; assist with network issues.
• Escalate unresolved problems to higher-level support when required.
• Interact professionally with customers and colleagues; respond to routine technical queries.
