Job summary

Engineering Services and Products Company is seeking an entry-level IT support specialist in Iowa. The role covers Level I help desk tasks, imaging and decommissioning of computers, printer maintenance, and basic security camera tracking.

You will assist with network cabling, vendor software support, and new-hire IT orientation. The position reports to the IT Technical Support Supervisor and offers opportunities to work across departments, manage tickets, and participate in special projects.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or two years related experience, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing system or Help Desk.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, review and respond to Level I Technical Support.
• Update and maintain computer systems.
• Support policies and procedures related to network hardware and software.
• Computer imaging and decommissioning.
• Track computer security cameras.
• Printer maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Work with vendor software support.
• Network cabling installation and termination.
• New Hire IT orientation and training.
• Escalate higher level IT tickets to appropriate personnel.
• Undertake individual projects and research as assigned by management.
• Provide after-hours support coverage.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
