Job summary

Altera Digital Health Managed Services – Springhill Medical Center in Mobile, Alabama, seeks anAssociate Computer Operator to join our IT team onsite. This entry-level role focuses on monitoring systems, executing batch jobs, backups, and initial troubleshooting while upholding quality and security standards in a healthcare IT environment.

The ideal candidate has 0–2 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree (preferred), and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor computer systems, networks, and applications to ensure continuous operation.
• Execute scheduled batch jobs, data backups, and system processes accurately and on time.
• Respond to system alerts, errors, and incidents, perform initial troubleshooting, and escalate complex issues.
• Maintain detailed operational logs and documentation of activities and resolutions.
• Adhere to operational procedures, security protocols, and data integrity standards.
• Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to support maintenance and problem resolution.
• Participate in on-call rotations and after-hours support during peak periods.
• Communicate status and updates clearly to team members and clients.
