Job summary

The Configuration Technician Associate in Bedford, OH performs pre-configuration of IT equipment to ensure quality and proper functionality before shipment. This hands-on role follows documented instructions and supports deployment readiness.

Entry-level position with room to grow in the IT field; you will learn different IT disciplines, handle packaging, testing, and basic troubleshooting, and contribute to cost-efficient, timely orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prefer 1 year of related experience or relevant training.
• Must have a valid driver's license (no more than 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Provision and configure IT devices according to customer requirements.
• Perform basic kitting of equipment.
• Unbox, re-box and process equipment for shipping.
• Clean, test, and inspect IT devices.
• Escalate issues to your supervisor.
• Participate in internal meetings.
• Suggest process improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.
