The 3MD Inc. Configuration Technician I role is based in Fort Wayne, IN and focuses on the quality delivery of technology services, including PC and mobile device configuration.

The position requires initiative and a keen interest in computer hardware and software, with a path to grow expertise in the technology field. Ideal candidates will have Windows OS and MS Office experience, familiarity with mobile platforms, and the ability to record work accurately while collaborating with teammates in

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Degree
• 2 Years of Experience
• AA degree preferred
• A+ Certification desired
• Technical Skills Working knowledge of Windows OS
• Working knowledge of mobile devices
• High proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel required
• Working knowledge of Apple OSX preferred
• Some CMD line experience preferred Written and Verbal Skills
• Must be able to communicate clearly, in English, verbally and electronically (written email)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Attention to Detail
• Must be able to accurately record and track work as it is being done up to and including: Marking items as complete, Keeping completed items separate from those being worked on

Responsibilities

• Configuration and deployment of PC's and mobile devices
• Use and navigation of Windows OS and MS Office
• Navigation of folder and file structure
• Renaming of system(s)
• Use and navigation of Windows Mobile OS, Apple iOS, and Android OS Administration of Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions
• Use of endpoint management solutions
• Basic hardware knowledge and troubleshooting a plus
• IT Terminology
• Accurately record and track work as it is being done up to and including: Item being asset tagged
