Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking an Inspection Technician to perform a variety of inspection operations on mechanical parts and assemblies within manufacturing prototype and production programs.

You will use visual, layout methods and precision measurement tools to verify quality and ensure conformance to specifications, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Perform a variety of inspection operations of mechanical parts and installations fabricated and/or assembled such as; completed systems, assemblies, tools, jigs, fixtures, prototypes, training devices and detail parts on manufacturing prototype, production development and/or production programs. Perform inspections utilizing a variety of techniques, inspection equipment and instruments to include visual, layout methods and various conventional types of measurement devices.

Perform inspections utilizing a variety of techniques, inspection equipment and instruments to include visual, layout methods and various conventional types of measurement devices.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work on a team
• High school degree or equivalent
• Must be able to use computer programs such as Word, Excel, etc.

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of machine parts, tooling section or mechanical assembly inspection
• Inspection experience
• Ability to use precision measurement tools (ie: Calipers, micrometers, etc)

Pay Information

• $24.55 - $44.23
