Job summary

Everforth ECS seeks an IDS Dispatcher to join our Ft. Worth, TX security monitoring center. The role supports 24/7 alarm monitoring, dispatch services for USPS facilities, and incident reporting.

Candidates must pass a rigorous background check (MBI) and USPS Public Trust clearance. The position offers night, weekend, and holiday shifts, with potential for advancement after 90 days based on availability.

Qualifications

• Able to type a minimum of 45 words per minute.
• Experience with MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Manage tasks from multiple sources (radio, phone, alarm monitoring software).
• Monitor radio communications and IDS systems.
• Provide timely responses and document events accurately.
• Initiate law enforcement response per criteria.
• Maintain professional customer service under stress.
• Read, write and proofread in English; clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor IDS and alarm systems and log events.
• Provide non-emergency and emergency dispatching.
• Coordinate radio and telephone communications for incidents.
• Enter and update electronic records in databases.
• Support law enforcement response when required.
• Produce clear, concise incident reports.
