Job summary

Acara Solutions in Irving, TX is seeking an Alarm Monitoring and Dispatch Specialist to support our CMS team. This temp-to-direct role handles alarm signals, coordinates with technicians and authorities, and delivers responsive customer service.

You'll monitor calls, document resolutions, and generate reports, with 40 hours/week and a 2nd shift (2pm–10pm). Prior customer service and basic security systems knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience in Sales or Customer Service.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and process incoming alarm signals, troubleshoot alarm systems, and dispatch appropriate personnel or authorities as needed.
• Receive and manage after-hours service calls, create service tickets, and coordinate with on-call service technicians.
• Deliver professional, responsive customer service by assisting customers with account-related questions and service requests.
• Maintain accurate records by documenting calls, resolutions, dispatch activity, and system updates in the appropriate databases.
• Prepare reports and participate in ongoing training and call reviews to strengthen communication and customer interaction skills.
