Job summary

Service Experts in Houston, TX is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician I to support routine HVAC service calls under close supervision. You will assist with maintenance, inspections, and basic diagnostics on heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment while delivering excellent customer service.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, HVAC training, EPA and safety certifications, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with HVAC training; 0-2 years experience preferred.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical/refrigerant systems.
• Strong communication, time-management and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment under supervision.
• Inspect and diagnose equipment to prevent breakdowns and callbacks.
• Deliver and remove parts and equipment needed for service work.
• Assist Service Technician on heating, cooling, ventilation and refrigeration tasks.
• Record all call data and complete forms accurately; collect payments if needed.
• Promote products and services to customers; coordinate with dispatch on status.
