Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with additional HVAC training preferred.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC operation and related accessories.
• Proficient mechanical aptitude and ability to use common tools.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical/refrigerant/duct systems.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Able to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance on heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment.
• Inspects equipment and identifies potential problems to prevent breakdowns.
• Assists Service Technician and delivers/removes parts for service calls.
• Records information on a handheld device and completes paperwork neatly and accurately.
• Communicates with dispatch for status updates and availability.
• Promotes products and services to customers and handles customer inquiries professionally.
• Ensures company property and tools are properly maintained and accounted for.
• Adheres to safety guidelines and uses PPE as prescribed.
