This entry point offers hands-on training under the Payroll Manager and HR Manager, helping with day-to-day tasks like processing paperwork, updating employee records, and answering common questions.

You'll gain exposure to payroll processes, onboarding and offboarding tasks, and HRIS data management while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in HR, business, or related field.
• Prior office, customer service, or administrative experience is preferred (payroll/HR a plus).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for daily tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through on assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bi-weekly payroll tasks, including reviewing timecards and entering data.
• Answer routine payroll/HR questions from employees and escalate as needed.
• Help gather documents for payroll audits and year-end processing.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding paperwork, including I-9 forms.
• Update and file employee records and HRIS entries accurately.
• Help with recruiting tasks like posting jobs and emailing candidates.
• Support HR with employment verifications and unemployment claims.
• Collaborate with HR/Payroll and other departments while keeping data confidential.
• Assist with HR/Payroll projects as they arise.
