Job summary

Volunteers of America Colorado is seeking an entry-level Shallow Subsidy Case Manager to assess needs, deliver services, and coordinate program supports for households facing housing instability.

You will conduct needs-based screenings, document interactions, and engage in community outreach while adhering to VOACO standards and best practices. Travel across the service area is required with occasional exposure to challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, or a closely related field or related experience.
• Colorado driver’s license and state-mandated automobile insurance.
• Personal vehicle for work-related travel with mileage reimbursement.
• Complete agency and program credentialing within 12 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides case management services to Program Clients.
• Identify and serve the unique needs of participant households and conduct screenings.
• Implement programs per funder and VOACO standards and expectations.
• Conduct community outreach to identify eligible households facing housing instability.
• Document all client interactions and required eligibility information.
