Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking an Engineer I for an on-site role at the Courtyard Orlando Lake Buena Vista in the Marriott Village in Orlando, FL. The position involves maintaining building systems, ensuring safety, and upholding engineering standards.

The role requires vocational trades experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry, with a focus on energy efficiency and reliable daily operations for a large hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Vocational schooling, military training, certification and/or experience in building related trades required in 1 or more of the following areas: HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance and complete work orders to maintain hotel quality and equipment.
• Inspect electrical systems, lighting, and air conditioning; perform minor repairs or replacements as needed.
• Support routine repairs and major repairs for hotel equipment including boilers, kitchen and laundry equipment, and plumbing fixtures.
• Service the hotel's pool and maintain chemical levels; document maintenance activities and logs.
• Maintain exterior curb appeal and assist with furniture refurbishing and moving as required.
• Respond courteously to guest questions or requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
