Qualifications

• High school diploma required; large hotel experience preferred.
• Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing and electrical work.
• Knowledge of hotel fire standards and procedures.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to perform rigorous tasks including working from ladders and handling awkward materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs of physical property, electrical, plumbing and mechanical equipment per standards and codes.
• Repair hotel guest rooms under Preventative Maintenance program.
• Report broken or misused equipment to Engineering Manager or Director.
• Ensure safety systems are operable and comply with regulations.
• Follow Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
• Assist in maintaining department inventory by reporting needed supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
