Job summary

Epic is seeking a Trainer based on our campus in Madison, WI, with relocation assistance to the area. You will lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users, and be the first point of contact for staff as they transition to Epic.

From instructional design to creating training materials and scenarios, you’ll shape the user experience. You’ll design workflow-based content with teams, partner with organizations to tailor training, and contribute to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or greater (any major).
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
• A history of academic and professional success.
• Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days, with a typical month including 1-2 trips lasting 2-4 days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users.
• Be the first point of contact for staff and users, shaping their experience as they transition to Epic.
• Involve in the training process from instructional design to development of training materials and scenarios that you'll be delivering.
• Design workflow-based training content in collaboration with teams.
• Work directly with organizations to help develop their training and get involved in projects to make our software more intuitive.
