Job summary

Epic is seeking a Trainer for the Madison, Wisconsin campus, with relocation to the area. You will lead in-person and virtual training for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users, and be the first point of contact for staff and users as they transition to Epic.

You will design training from start to finish, create training materials and scenarios, and work in teams to develop workflow-based content that improves how Epic software is used.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or greater (any major) required or preferred in related field.
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience is preferred.
• Willingness to travel 25–60% of working days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and healthcare users, as well as staff.
• Be the first point of contact for many staff and users and shape their Epic experience.
• Handle instructional design and develop training materials and scenarios to be delivered.
• Collaborate with teams to design workflow-based training content and train client organizations.
• Contribute to projects to improve Epic software usability.
