Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a Medical Records/Health Information Management Specialist to work onsite at a facility in a part-time capacity. You will analyze medical records, chase missing documentation, and manage chart deficiencies within the EMR and deficiency management system.

The role supports CMS and Joint Commission compliance and requires CRCR certification within 9 months. You should have EMR experience and prior healthcare revenue cycle exposure.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CMS and Joint Commission regulations.
• EMR systems experience in a healthcare setting.
• Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience for acute care HIM roles.
• Inquisitive mindset with openness to innovation including AI to improve processes.
• CRCR certification required within 9 months of hire (company paid).

Responsabilités

• Completes analysis/reanalysis of medical records accurately and timely.
• Follows up with departments/providers for missing documentation.
• Manages deficiency tracking and assigns to appropriate providers.
• Documents workflows and changes to processes to management.
• Adheres to company standards and workflow guidelines; escalates issues as needed.
