Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample fresh concrete, run slump, air, temperature, and cylinder tests, and document results the same day at various job sites.

No experience is required; we provide structured field training and sponsor ACI Field Testing Grade I and NICET certifications as you progress. The work is outdoor and travel-heavy, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• No experience required; we train and sponsor certifications.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Wollows procedures per ASTM testing standards.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938.
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to placement locations.
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on the spot.
