Job summary

Enerflex Ltd. is seeking a maintenance trainee to learn basic maintenance functions on natural gas refrigeration and process systems under supervision. You will assist senior technicians with servicing, troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning, progressing toward Service Technician I.

You will travel as needed across several states and must comply with safety policies. A GED or high school diploma and Refrigeration Theory certification are required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Certification in Refrigeration Theory and Principles.
• Willingness to learn and train in maintenance roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnosis of reciprocating/screw compressors and systems.
• Help with installation, commissioning, and start-up inspections of units.
• Submit field service reports, expense reports, and timesheets daily.
• Assist with mechanical inspection and use of standard tools.
• Travel across multiple states may be required with nights/weekends.
