Job summary

A-Gas Americas is hiring a Field Service Technician to service HVAC and specialty gas systems across a geographic area. You will lead field-based service activities, perform preventative maintenance, and engage customers to ensure high-quality service deliveries.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and EPA certification preferred. Expect travel, safety-first practices, and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of related industry or mechanical experience preferred.
• Flexibility in working hours; overtime may be required.
• Must adhere to safety procedures and maintain safe work practices.
• Computer skills required, including typing and using current technology.
• Strong written and verbal communication for professional interactions.

Responsibilities

• Drive company truck to designated work sites for reclamation and recovery of refrigerants and specialty gases.
• Provide exceptional service and customer support to clients.
• Identify opportunities for service, gas buy-back, and spot buy sales to meet territory targets.
• Submit daily work orders and weekly expense reports promptly.
• Maintain assigned vehicle in good condition and clean; follow vehicle manual guidance.
• Operate electric pallet jack as needed; ensure safety standards are followed.
• Participate in DOT random drug testing program as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
