Pearce is seeking an Entry Level Field Maintenance Technician in Worcester, MA. You will support mechanical, electrical, and facility equipment maintenance across solar sites, battery storage, and other critical facilities.

The role offers hands-on training, travel up to 100% with a six weeks on, one week off rotational schedule, and opportunities to grow into solar, HVAC, and power systems through Pearce’s programs. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in maintenance, construction, automotive, manufacturing, military, industrial, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and systems to identify issues and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Install and maintain conduit, cable trays, brackets, supports, shelving, and other equipment as needed.
• Support warehouse, fleet, and shop operations, including equipment maintenance and organization.
• Assist experienced field technicians with maintenance and repairs at commercial solar and battery energy storage sites.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed work and follow company safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
